Govs basketball player arrested on three counts

According to the booking log of the Montgomery County Sherriff's Office Web site, (www.montgomerycountytn.org), 2007-08 Gov basketball player Andre Arnold was arrested at 11:51 Thursday night. Arnold was charged with possession of an illegal drug, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm.

I cannot believe that a college athlete was arrested for drug and firearm possession----PSYCH! What is going on with these athletes? They get their school paid for (on our dime, most of the time) and either do not show up for class or are doing illegal activities. (Continued…)

well from the article him and his twin brother were arrested and both had weed. man i mean there is alot of shady business going on around campus from soliciting sex and favors to drugs. (Continued…)

Don't lump all student athletes together, some are proud to be there and grateful for their scholarships. They are working hard in the classroom and on the court, so please don't assume because a few are behaving poorly that all are. (Continued…)
