Chancellor Manning has recommended Timothy Hall as the new Austin Peay State University president.
If the TBR committee decides to approve Manning's recommendation, Hall would presumably take over upon Sherry Hoppe's exit July 31. The committee will meet May 18 at 9 a.m. to make a decision. Press and other interested parties are welcome to attend the meeting via conference call in the University Center Room 303 on the APSU campus.
Hall is currently serving as associate provost at the University of Mississippi. He along with Michael Spitzer and Kendall Blanchard were the final three candidates the committee decided upon in April.
Calls to committee members were not immediately returned.
